This project involved transforming an existing residential property by lowering the basement to create additional usable space. Lowering the basement required a carefully staged underpinning process to safely extend the foundation to a deeper level while maintaining the structural stability of the building.

Load-bearing wall removal
The customer wanted to create a more open interior layout which involved removing an existing load-bearing wall. The structural load was carefully redistributed by installing a steel beam supported by posts.
